Conservative Treatment

Conservative treatment includes all therapy methods that are carried out non-surgically. The aim is to alleviate pain, improve the function of the musculoskeletal system and increase the patient's quality of life.

There are numerous forms of this therapy, some of which can be easily combined. Some of the various forms of therapy are also offered by different institutes and specialists. We are happy to support you in planning, implementing and monitoring the treatment.

Together with trainers and supervising physiotherapists, we support athletes in optimizing their training and their special sports shoes with regard to performance and injury prevention.

Here are the most important points for conservative treatment:

  • Physiotherapy: exercises to improve mobility, strength and stability.

  • Manual therapy: mobilization of joints and connective tissue using special grip techniques.

  • Drug therapy: Painkillers, anti-inflammatory drugs or muscle relaxants.

  • Injection therapy: Local applications such as cortisone or hyaluronic acid injections.

  • Physical therapy: Applications such as electrotherapy, ultrasound, heat or cold therapy.

  • Orthopaedic technology: Provision of supports and aids for protection and position correction, splints, shoe adjustments and the provision of special shoes and orthoses or orthopaedic insoles.

The advantages of conservative therapy are, for example, the gentle form of treatment without surgical risks. The body's own healing process can also be promoted. Conservative treatment also enables individual adaptation to needs and complaints.

Weare looking forward to advise you on the best possible treatment plan.
